Liverpool weather forecast: Conditions will remain 'messy' says Met Office

As we look forward to the weekend, the good news is that high pressure will remain in charge - meaning we should enjoy some dry, fine and settled weather.

Friday will get off to a mild start, with a fresh breeze in coastal areas. Temperatures will stay around the 18 - 20C mark.

There could be a few showers on Saturday, while the weather is forecast to remain fine and dry on Sunday.

Looking further ahead, the Met Office long-range weather forecast predicts this week's "messy weather" will be repeated next week.

The fine weather is due to continue on Monday, but then things will start to become more unsettled, with more in the way of cloud cover, along with rain, showers, and even the possibility of thunderstorms.

However, it will stay warm and humid.
