It is set to be a cloudy day across Liverpool with the Met office predicting thundery showers into next week.
On Saturday 3 September it will remain primarily dry with highs in the 20Cs. It will be cloudy for much of the day with a slow-moving band of showery rain, locally heavy, across the region.
According to the Met Office, showers in the middle of the day will clear to the northeast of the region allowing for a dry period tonight, before the next band of rain moves in from the southwest with temperatures hitting a low of 13C.

However, on Sunday heavy rain will sweep across Liverpool and forecasts are expecting heavy rain will spread north-eastwards through Sunday, becoming showery into the afternoon especially in the coastal areas of Liverpool.
Forecasters at the Met Office believe this will mark the beginning of a longer phase of stormy weather, with a long range forecast from Wednesday 7 September to Friday 16 September reading: "Wednesday is likely to bring some unsettled weather for much of the UK, with many places seeing showers.
"Winds perhaps lighter than the beginning of the week, allowing some mist or fog patches overnight for some areas. This unsettled picture is likely to continue for the rest of the week, with a continued risk of showers, especially in the east and southeast, but drier and brighter spells are also likely, the best of which probable for the northwest."
No weather warnings are currently in place in the UK.
