The Met Office say morning clouds should lift to allow Liverpool to bask in sunshine/
But things are set to a turn for the worst across Merseyside tonight with rain on the cards.
The weather experts say: "After a fairly cloudy start, there will be plenty of long sunny spells by the afternoon.
"It will feel pleasant in any sheltered spots sunshine, but there will also be a brisk breeze."
And the Met Office say we could see a maximum temperature of 19°C.
Tonight
Staying dry at first tonight with long clear spells.
However, patchy light rain may arrive into the south of the region by dawn. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
And more rain is forecast by the Met Office tomorrow with "heavy and prolonged" outbreaks set to hit the region on Tuesday.
