Summer weather could finally be coming back to Liverpool after an intense period of rain and clouds.
According to the Met Office , sunshine is forecast for the city, giving us a break from the bad weather - and this is when to expect it.
On Wednesday morning, there is a around a 60% chance of rain until 8am but it will instantly brighten up with the sun making an appearance later in the day.
Between 2pm and sunset, the clouds will clear completely and Liverpool will be basking in the sunshine with temperatures heating up to match.
It will be around 15°C for most of the day before eventually climbing to around 16°C but it could feel as hot as 18°C in the city centre .
According to this week's forecast, the weather is only expected to get better in the run up to the weekend.
But enjoy it while it lasts.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "A cloudy morning with some outbreaks of rain, especially across southern areas.
" It will become drier and brighter during the afternoon, with some sunshine to end the day. Maximum temperature 18 °C."
