Liverpool weather: City to bask in yet ANOTHER day of sunshine but it's not all good news

Liverpool is set to bask in yet another day of sunshine but unfortunately it will take a turn.

The Met Office have predicted that Friday will be a bright day with high temperatures but as we head towards the weekend it is all expected to change.

A forecaster for the weather authority said that temperatures on Friday will hot up to around 18°C between lunchtime and 3pm, despite cloud attempting to block the sun.

The Met Office website said: "After a bright start, it will slowly cloud over from the east, with some rain in places.

"The best of any sunshine will remain across the west. Feeling somewhat cooler. Maximum temperature 18 °C."

Over the weekend however, the weather will change dramatically from what we have experienced this week and we will see plenty of rain and possible thunder.

The forecaster said: "Sunshine and showers this weekend, some heavy, prolonged and possibly thundery.

"Perhaps a little drier on Monday, with some heavy showers possible. Feeling pleasant in any sunshine, with light winds."

Saturday will see low temperatures of around 10°C while Sunday can be expected to be slightly warmer with highs of 14°C.
