Temperatures will feel considerably cooler this Bank Holiday Monday after a weekend of warm weather.
People flocked to parks and beaches across Merseyside to soak up the sun this weekend with Saturday seeing highs of 20 degrees. But today's forecast is expected to be a lot cooler, with temperatures ranging from 10-12 degrees.
The Met Office predicts a cloudy morning before sunny intervals appear around lunchtime. The forecast for Tuesday looks similar to today with a mixture of cloud and sunshine along with outbreaks of rain.
The Met Office forecast for the North West said: "Easter Monday will start mostly dry, but rather cloudy. Skies will brighten during the morning, although scattered showers will also break out, these locally heavy.
The showers should die out through the afternoon, promising a fine end to the day. Maximum temperature 14 °C. The evening will start generally dry with some late sunshine.
"However, cloud will gradually increase during the night with the chance of a few showers developing towards the south. Minimum temperature 5 °C."
