The weather forecast for the rest of the week in Liverpool will include rain with a few sunny spells predicts the Met Office.
This comes as the days are beginning to get shorter as the autumn and winter months approach following the equinox which occurred on the 22nd September.
Despite some thinking that the UK didn't have a warm summer, it was actually the warmest summer in Europe on record.

However as we near October the weather is set to become a lot more wintry and cold according to the Met Office.
Here is a run down on the weather you can expect in Liverpool this week:
Wednesday September 29
Heavy showers which will then changed to sunny intervals can be expected through Wednesday.
The temperatures will reach highs of 14C but will drop to just 10 overnight.
Thursday September 30
Light rainfall is predicted which will change to cloud in the afternoon.
Thursday will be slightly warmer at 17C but temperatures could drop to 14C as the day goes on.
Friday October 1
Heavy rain will be back on Friday but will be changing to sun as the day goes on. There will be a high of 15C and a low of 11C.
Saturday October 2
Saturday morning will consist of cloudy weather and light rain in the afternoon. Temperatures will rise to 14C and drop to 11C.
Sunday October 3
Sunday will just see spots of rain throughout the day. Early morning will be cloudy but by late morning this will change to sun.
Temperatures will get to 15C and could go down to 11C.
