People in Liverpool woke up to a fine sunny day today (Saturday), as the Met Office forecast temperatures to rise during the coming week.
Although forecasters said they were not expecting any temperature records to be broken, they said the heat was likely to build steadily. Today a maximum temperature of 19C is expected, although it will feel warm in the sunshine.
Overnight it will stay largely dry with a mix of cloud and clear spells. The sunny spells will continue tomorrow (Sunday) with temperatures expected to rise to 20C.
