Liverpool vs West Ham prediction and odds: Irons face tough task to stop Mo Salah and co at Anfield

West Ham will be looking to secure their first double over in-form Liverpool since 2016 as they travel to Anfield in this weekend's Premier League clash.

The Irons are 10/1 with Betfred while Liverpool are the clear favourites at 3/10 and a draw is 5/1.

David Moyes will be hoping his side maintain their form as they sit just two points behind 4th-place Manchester United and have the superior goal difference over the Red Devils.

Their home win last weekend against Wolves was crucial to maintain their Champions League mission this season but to really make a case, they will need to beat other of the so-called "top six" and Liverpool is familiar territory to them.

Last time out, Liverpool travelled to the London Stadium in November unbeaten and already whispers of another invincible season was on the cards but that ended thanks to an Alisson own goal, Pablo Fornals and Kurt Zouma finding the net in an entertaining 3-2 win.

But with Liverpool winning the Carabao Cup and have every chance of achieving the elusive quadruple, we could be in for an entertaining match on Merseyside.

This will be the 144th meeting between the two sides with West Ham picking up 29 wins, 38 draws and 76 defeats in all competitions against Liverpool.
