Liverpool vs Spurs confirmed teams: Salah, Eriksen and Rose start, Ndombele on bench, Lamela out

Mauricio Pochettino has made four changes to his Tottenham Hotspur team to face Liverpool at Anfield.

Christian Eriksen, Harry Winks, Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose return to the team with Jan Vertonghen, Ben Davies and Tanguy Ndombele dropping to the bench with Erik Lamela not in the squad.

Spurs finally got back to winning ways with a comprehensive 5-0 victory against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Pochettino had to decide whether to stick with the winning team or bring back big name players to counter the very different threat that Liverpool will provide and he has done the latter.

Giovani Lo Celso played 10 minutes against Red Star while Pochettino told football.london that fellow summer signing Ryan Sessegnon could be involved in the match day squad at Anfield but first he had to earn his place in the squad. Lo Celso is on the bench, while Sessegnon misses out.
