Liverpool vs Sheffield United lineups and team news - Naby Keita pulls out of starting XI at Anfield tonight

Naby Keita looked to have returned to the Liverpool starting lineup against Sheffield United tonight - but the midfielder suffered a setback during the warmup and was replaced by James Milner.

Jurgen Klopp has made just one change for the visit of United, with Keita coming back in. However, the midfielder did not make the final cut after pulling out before the game - and James Milner took his place.

The Guinea international, making his fourth start in five matches, replaces Adam Lallana in the side which beat Wolves on Sunday.

Boyhood Liverpool fan John Lundstram has recovered from an ankle injury to take his place in United's midfield at the expense of Mo Besic.

The other change from the defeat at Manchester City sees forward David McGoldrick coming in for Callum Robinson.

Liverpool lineup: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane

Subs: Adrian, Lallana, Origi, Jones, Elliott, Phillips, Williams

Sheff Utd lineup: Henderson, Basham, Egan, O'Connell, Baldock, Lundstram, Norwood, Fleck, Stevens, McGoldrick, Mousset

Subs: McBurnie, Sharp, Robinson, Jagielka, Verrips, Osborn, Besic

Referee: Paul Tierney
