Liverpool vs Red Bull Salzburg - TV channel, kick-off time and live stream details for Champions League clash

Liverpool will be hoping to claim their first three points in Europe this season when they take on Red Bull Salzburg on Wednesday night.

Despite kicking off their Premier League season by winning seven from seven, with their latest victory coming away at Sheffield United on Saturday, the Reds suffered a 2-0 defeat in their opening Champions League group game two weeks ago.

Dries Mertens fired Napoli ahead from the penalty spot before former Tottenham forward Fernando Llorente sealed all three points for Carlo Ancelotti's side in stoppage time.

While Salzburg kicked off their own European campaign with an emphatic 6-2 win over Genk on matchday one, with Erling Braut Håland bagging a hat-trick for the Austrian giants.

And below is all the big information ahead of the clash at Anfield.

Where is the game and what time does it kick off?

Liverpool vs Salzburg will kick off at 8:00pm on Wednesday 2nd October 2019.

The game will take place at Anfield, and it will be the first time the Reds have played a European game in front of their own fans since they claimed their sixth European Cup in June.

Goals in either half from Mo Salah and Divock Origi handed Jurgen Klopp's side a 2-0 win over Spurs in the final in June, while the last European game at Anfield saw the Reds produce a memorable comeback against Barcelona.
