Liverpool face RB Leipzig in Budapest tonight as Jurgen Klopp’s team seek to keep their season alive by securing a spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The Premier League champions, whose crown has all but fallen this term, enter this second leg with a 2-0 aggregate lead after their win in Germany last time.
The reverse fixture, which was also held in the Puskas Arena, went Liverpool’s way thanks to ‘away’ goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, who have the Reds on the verge of safe passage into the next round.

Such a feat would see Klopp’s team better their efforts from last season, when they were eliminated by Atletico Madrid at this stage of the competition.
Here’s all you need to know ahead of the last-16 second leg this evening.
When is it?
The match will kick off at 8pm GMT.
How can I watch it?
The game will be televised live on BT Sport, with subscribers also able to stream the action live on the broadcaster’s website and app.
What is the team news?
Roberto Firmino and Ozan Kabak missed out as Liverpool lost to Fulham at the weekend, with the pair also doubts for tonight’s game. Meanwhile, long-term absentees Jordan Henderson, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip are all still sidelined.
Leipzig may have to make do without full-back Angelino, and Marcel Sabitzer and Willi Orban could also be missing for Julian Nagelsmann. Marcel Halstenberg, Konrad Laimer and Dominik Szoboszlai will not feature for the Bundesliga club, but Emil Forsberg could return after his absence in the first leg.

Prediction
Given their torrid recent outings at Anfield, Liverpool might just be grateful to have a ‘home’ game in Budapest. Expect the Reds to advance here, but not necessarily without a scare. Liverpool 1-1 Leipzig.
