77′ – GOAL FIRMINO. Liverpool 3 – 1 Porto (5 – 1)
Poor Porto ran into a buzzsaw.
68′ – GOAL MILITAO. Liverpool 2 – 1 Porto (4 – 1)
Ayyy Porto scored. Good for them.
65′ – GOAL MO SALAH. Liverpool 2 – 0 Porto (4 – 0)
And that should be it for Porto.
26′ – GOAL SADIO MANE. Liverpool 1 – 0 Porto (3 – 0)
And it’s that man Mane, putting the game all but out of reach for Liverpool. There were some rumblings about offside but it looked clean to these eyes.
Preview
Liverpool will travel to Portugal to take on Porto in the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal on Wednesday. The match sees Liverpool enter with a comfortable 2-0 aggregate lead which they secured with a strong performance at Anfield a week ago.
Porto have work to do. By failing to notch an away goal, they must not only win by at least two goals, but must prevent Liverpool from scoring. Liverpool get that away goal, and suddenly Porto need to win by three, a tall order against the Premier League powerhouse.
The lineups show Jurgen Klopp has rotated the squad a bit, bringing in Origi in up to give Firmino a rest. Understandable, with Liverpool holding a 2-0 lead and the Liverpool side in the middle of a fierce battle for the Premier League title with Manchester City.

Advancement Scenarios
Liverpool won the first match at Anfield 2-0, so they have a distinct advantage heading into the second leg in Portugal.
If Liverpool wins or ties by any score, or lose by one goal, they will advance. If Liverpool lose by two goals but score at least one goal, they will advance by the away goals tiebreaker. So a 3-1 Porto win would still see Liverpool through.
Porto can advance by winning by more than two goals.
If Porto are winning 2-0 at 90 minutes, the game will go to extra time.
