Liverpool vs Newcastle team selector: How would you line up at Anfield?

Newcastle travel to Liverpool looking to pull further clear of the Premier League's relegation zone.

The Magpies are one point clear of the bottom three after four games but travel to Anfield with the thankless task of trying to keep Liverpool's frontline quiet.

The Reds are European champions, have won 13 Premier League games in a row and have not lost in the league at Anfield since April 2017.

The bookies are offering odds of 22/1 just for the Magpies to win, such is the scale of the task facing Steve Bruce's side.

But the 58-year-old has not lost belief in his side and is urging them to replicate the performance that saw Newcastle stun Tottenham Hotspur in a 1-0 away win last month.

He will have to do so without a number of senior players, though. Florian Lejeune, Matt Ritchie, Allan Saint-Maximin, Dwight Gayle and Andy Carroll will miss the game through injury.

DeAndre Yedlin is unlikely to be fit to return having missed the first month of the season but Bruce was happy Miguel Almiron, Fabian Schar, Emil Krafth and Martin Dubravka have returned unscathed from international duty.

So with that in mind, how would you line up at Anfield? Let us know your starting XI by using our team selector tool below.
