Liverpool vs Napoli
2019 Pre-season friendly
Venue: Murrayfield
Kick-off time: 3pm BST, Sunday 28 July
Liverpool continue their pre-season tour back in the UK after their trip across the Atlantic and face Napoli at a neutral venue in Edinburgh.
Jurgen Klopp's men haven't had the easiest of rides in pre-season, losing to Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla, while also conceding the lead twice in the 2-2 draw with Sporting CP.
Now the Reds take on Carlo Ancelotti's Napoli in Scotland as they hope to secure a first win in four games.
They will then head to the French region of Evian for a training camp before their Premier League opener against Norwich in under a fortnight's time.
Here's what you need to know...
Liverpool vs Napoli predicted lineups and team news
Mohamed Salah, Alisson Becker and Roberto Firmino are all due to return from an extended break necessitated by their involvement in summer tournaments in the coming days.
However, they are not expected to resume training until the Reds’ upcoming camp in Evian begins. Xherdan Shaqiri (calf) and Naby Keita (adductor) are also close to making their comebacks after recovering from respective injuries.
Possible Liverpool XI: Mignolet; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Gomez, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum; Wilson, Origi, Brewster
Possible Napoli XI: Meret; Hysaj, Manolas, Chiriches, Ghoulam; Gaetano, Zielinski; Callejon, Mertens, Insigne; Milik
Prediction: Liverpool 1-1 Napoli
Despite their mixed form in pre-season, Liverpool showed signs of reaching the fitness levels that Jurgen Klopp demands from his players.
But with a number of key players missing - Salah, Mane and Alisson to name a few - the Reds may find it difficult to get past a strong Napoli side containing Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens.

Head to Head (H2H) record
Liverpool and Napoli have only met four times in Europe prior to their friendly encounter.
It's worth mentioning that the Reds got the better of the Partenopei with a 1-0 win at Anfield in December and edge the head-to-head record with two wins to Napoli's one.
The two clubs have met twice both in the Europa League and Champions League, so this will be the first non-competitive match-up between the two.
