Liverpool vs Manchester United starting line ups as star names return to squad

Jurgen Klopp has named an unchanged 11 for the Liverpool side that host Manchester United on Sunday as Fabinho and Joel Matip return to the match-day squad.

Alisson Becker continues in goal behind a back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson.

The Reds' midfield three is captain Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with Adam Lallana and Takumi Minamino named on the substitutes' bench.

Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah are named up top as the Reds aim to go 16 points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Matip hasn't featured for the Reds since suffering a knee injury against United back on October 20, but comes back into the fold nearly three months after that 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Fabinho also makes his own comeback after suffering ankle damage in the 1-1 draw with Napoli on November 27.
