Liverpool vs Man Utd
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Anfield
Xherdan Shaqiri came off the Liverpool bench to score two goals to consign Manchester United to a 3-1 defeat at Anfield.
A mistake from Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson allowed Jesse Lingard to cancel out Sadio Mane's opening goal and send the sides into half-time level, but Shaqiri changed the game as a second-half substitute with two deflected efforts to send Jurgen Klopp's side back to the top of the Premier League table.
The result leaves Liverpool a point clear of champions Manchester City, and a huge 19 clear of United as Jose Mourinho's season goes from bad to worse with a top-four finish now looking unlikely.
David Lynch and James Robson are at Anfield today, and you can follow the reaction LIVE with Standard Sport.
