Liverpool struck a huge blow in the Premier League title race as they beat defending champions Man City to go eight points clear at the top of the table.
The Reds took the lead in controversial fashion, when Fabinho drilled home a terrific effort moments after City had been denied a penalty at the other end for handball against Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Mo Salah doubled the lead, heading Andy Robertson’s cross into the far corner, before Sadio Mane did the same after a terrific delivery from Jordan Henderson.
Bernardo Silva scored a late consolation for the visitors, who now sit fourth, nine points adrift of Liverpool, heading into the international break.
