
Mohamed Salah is in contention to return to the Liverpool team tonight when the Reds host Leicester City in the Premier League at Anfield.
Salah has been unavailable since the draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on 2 January as he competed in the Africa Cup of Nations with Egypt, where they reached the final only to lose out to Senegal and Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane on penalties.

Liverpool won both of their Premier League fixtures in the absence of the club’s top scorer, against Brentford and Crystal Palace, while also progressing in the League and FA Cups.
The forward has declared himself “ready” for the fixture against Brendan Rodgers’ side, who defeated Liverpool in the reverse fixture in December, but Sadio Mane has been ruled out following Senegal’s Africa Cup of Nations celebrations.
