Liverpool vs Leicester City
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Anfield
Date: Wednesday, January 30, 2019
Kick-off: 8pm GMT
Liverpool's Premier League title chase continues on Wednesday night as Jurgen Klopp's table-toppers host Leicester City.
Liverpool lead Manchester City by four points heading into gameweek 24 of the season, though Man City play Newcastle on Tuesday night before the Reds' clash with the Foxes on Wednesday.
While Klopp has a number of injury concerns to deal with, the squad were able to take advantage of an 11-day break without a game and take a warm-weather training trip to Dubai in order to prepare for the challenges ahead.
Liverpool team news and predicted line-up
Klopp still has defensive concerns with Joe Gomez (ankle) out and James Milner suspended. However, Dejan Lovren (thigh) should return, while Trent Alexander-Arnold has an outside chance of being back in contention. If the youngster is not fit, Fabinho should play at right-back.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on the comeback trail from his long-term knee injury but working back to full fitness, while Georginio Wijnaldum (knee) and Virgil van Dijk (ill) are expected to be back.
Liverpool XI: Alisson; Fabinho, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Keita; Salah Firmino, Mane
Score prediction: Liverpool 4-2 Leicester
Crystal Palace's narrow 4-3 defeat at Anfield may give visiting teams the confidence to have a go at the table-toppers, especially with Liverpool's defensive injury concerns.
Liverpool should have too much firepower for the Foxes to handle, but expect Jamie Vardy to pose some problems for Klopp's back line.

The two sides have met 25 times in the Premier League: Liverpool have won 13 games, Leicester seven, and five draws have been shared.
Liverpool won 2-1 at the King Power Stadium earlier this season, and have won 11 of their last 12 League games. Leicester have lost three of their last four, and will need to do something special to end Liverpool's 32-game ubeaten run at home in the League.
