Liverpool host Everton in the Merseyside derby tonight as the Reds look to open up an 11 point lead at the summit of the Premier League once again.
Jurgen Klopp's side are riding high eight points clear of second-placed Leicester City, though last weekend's 2-1 win over Brighton was more difficult than it should have been after Alisson Becker's red card.
The goalkeeper will be suspended as Everton head to Anfield, and the Toffees are in desperate need of a result as they sit two points above the relegation zone.
Everton fell to a last-gasp defeat at Leicester on Sunday, and another loss - even against Liverpool - would surely see Silva relieved of his duties.
Premier League preview
Liverpool vs Everton
Venue: Goodison Park
Date: Wednesday, 4 December, 2019
Kick-off time: 8:15pm GMT
Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Everton
This game could not come at a worse time for both Everton and Marco Silva, though the Toffees may well find a Merseyside derby easier to raise themselves for.
That being said, Liverpool should see out a win on Wednesday that could well spell the end of Silva.

Team news
Liverpool
With Alisson suspended, Adrian will start in goal - though the Spaniard's nervy performance after coming off the bench against Brighton as a "frozen goalkeeper", in Klopp's words, may give Everton a little more confidence.
Elsewhere for the League leaders, Joel Matip, Nathaniel Clyne and Fabinho all remain sidelined.
Everton

Andre Gomes, Cuco Martina, Jean-Philipp Gbamin and Seamus Coleman will be out for the Toffees. Theo Walcott is in with a chance of returning from a knock, as is Fabian Delph.
Predicted lineups
Liverpool XI: Adrian; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane
Everton XI: Pickford; Digne, Holgate, Mina, Sidibe; Davies, Schneiderlin; Walcott, Sigurdsson, Richarlison; Calvert-Lewin
