Liverpool vs Dortmund lineups: Confirmed team news and predicted XIs for 2019 preseason friendly

Jurgen Klopp has warned Liverpool fans to expect a difficult test as the Reds prepare to face a strong Borussia Dortmund side.

Klopp will still be missing key men Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Alisson and Roberto Firmino for the USA pre-season tour friendly at Notre Dame Stadium.

Mane is playing in the Africa Cup of Nations final for Senegal on Friday night, with the rest of the star quartet granted an extended summer break due to international commitments.

Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri are out injured, while new centre-back Sepp Van den Berg is still waiting for Fifa to issue him international clearance to play.

In the build-up to the game, Klopp said of his selection options: "It will probably be a rather young team will face a very good team; let’s guess Borussia Dortmund change the 60-30 rhythm for the players, then pretty much all the big guns will start tomorrow.
