Liverpool vs Chelsea what channel: what time, how can I watch online, predicted line-ups, team news, h2h, odds and more

The match of the weekend comes from Anfield, as Liverpool face the toughest test in their title run-in as Chelsea travel to Merseyside in a game comparable to their title clash five years ago.

That day, Steven Gerrard’s infamous slip led to a 2-0 Chelsea win which ended Liverpool’s 11-game win streak, and they couldn’t recover in the 2014 race.

In 2019 though, there is renewed optimism; the Reds beat Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday, and are on a six-game win streak in all competitions since dropping points at Goodison Park at the beginning of March.

Chelsea grinded out a 1-0 win at Slavia Prague in their Europa League quarter-final on Thursday; they lie in third before the weekend’s action as their battle for Champions League qualification continues.

In September’s reverse fixture, a late Daniel Sturridge wonder goal cancelled out Eden Hazard’s opener, salvaging a point for Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Prediction…

Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea

Liverpool have just about been getting the job done as of late, and Chelsea’s wretched Premier League away record this season means the Reds should win this one. They’ll have to keep Eden Hazard quiet, but Salah will be buoyed against his former side in a crucial match for the Reds in their quest for a first Premier League title.
