Liverpool vs Chelsea prediction: Mo Salah tipped to score against his former club

Liverpool take on a Chelsea side eager to make their mark as title contenders this season and with the match at Anfield our tipster has backed this game as pivotal in the title race - yes even though it is August!

The Reds are the slight favourites at 6/4 with Grosvenor Sport while Champions League holders Chelsea at 39/20 and a draw is 47/20.

Jurgen Klopp's look solid at the back despite the lack of Andy Robertson on the left, picking up back-to-back clean sheets at Norwich City and against Burnley.

The visitors had an equally successful start to the season including a 2-0 win away at Arsenal with Romelu Lukaku making his mark in his second stint at the London club.

The arrival of Thomas Tuchel has revitalised the Blues and going into this season as Champions of Europe will mean the German will want to see his side improve on their domestic achievements - including the league title.

Klopp, meanwhile, will want to see his stay match fit throughout the season this time and win back the league title.

Tips

  • Mo Salah to score anytime - 8/5
  • Under 2.5 goals - 4/5
