Liverpool vs Chelsea odds: Best bets for Sunday's Premier League and Championship games

Bet on a balance of powers when Chelsea go to Anfield (4.30pm).

Much depends on which Eden Hazard turns up of course – and the strength of the dose. These days the wand-footed Belgian is used as and when by Maurizio Sarri, like a sort of football viagra.

Is he able to get it over the counter, you ask? Only if he takes the whole packet, madam!

It’s quite an old joke.

But Liverpool ’s last title win still predates it by at least a decade.

We’ve been here before in this leap-frog with Man City and Jurgen Klopp has shown the balls to resist ‘must-win’ hype.

Plus, there’s a reason nine of the last 20 meetings have been draws (90mins), and 11 of 20 were UNDER 2.5 goals. Tight margins.

The 16/5 DRAW is the right call at the prices.

Throw in an undersung ‘anytime scorer’ to rise to the occasion and poke bookies in the eye.

Penalty king James Milner is the one at 11/2 (Paddy) if he starts.

Manchester City and Liverpool are toe-to-toe in one of the most epic title tear-ups ever staged in England.

Even dear old Roy Hodgson would agree on that – and he saw Tom Sayers go 40 rounds with JC Heenan at Farnborough in 1859.

City’s chin should be tested at Selhurst Park (2.05pm) where Crystal Palace , sitting so clear of relegation fear now, probably have a free hit.

Pep Guardiola can’t afford to be as relaxed, but Palace’s vulnerability to counter-attacks is a boost if it is going to be a war.

I reckon longshot fans need the 15/2 (Paddy) ‘anytime’ about Palace’s Luka Milivojevic – he’s handy and landed a telling blow in the reverse fixture.

Hit him, Luka!

Wigan are unbeaten at home in the Championship since New Year’s Day. You’d think that would have helped more.

But as they wait for Norwich (12pm) to arrive there’s a distinct whiff of drains at the DW Stadium, wafting up from League One.

The Latics can shape pretty tight though, and a point might not bother Norwich boss Daniel Farke.

A murky one. I’ll take NO ‘both teams to score’ at 5/4 (Lads, Coral).

Last week: Winners at 7/4 and 6/4
