Liverpool have beaten Chelsea in a penalty shootout to win the Uefa Super Cup after a thrilling 2-2 draw in Istanbul.
Frank Lampard's Blues took a deserved lead through Olivier Giroud after 36 minutes following good work from N'Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic, and took that 1-0 advantage into the second half.
Unfortunately for Chelsea, that lead lasted just three minutes after the restart as half-time substitute Roberto Firmino brilliantly assisted Sadio Mane - and that goal took the game to 30 minutes of extra-time.
Mane put Liverpool ahead five minutes into extra-time, but Jorginho levelled up from the spot following an Adrian foul to send the game to penalties.
But Adrian went from zero to hero as he saved Tammy Abraham's penalty to secure a 5-4 shootout victory.
