Two European cup winners and Premier League rivals will face off in Istanbul on Wednesday evening in the UEFA Super Cup, as Champions League winner Liverpool plays Europa League winner Chelsea.
Chelsea, under new manager Frank Lampard, got off to a rough start to the new season, and suffered a 4-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday. Liverpool, meanwhile, began its Premier League campaign with a resounding 4-1 win over Norwich on Friday, and will be a slightly fresher side at Vodafone Park.
Liverpool vs. Chelsea will begin at 3:00 p.m. ET on TNT.
