Liverpool vs Burnley
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Anfield
Date: Sunday, 10 March, 2019
Kick-off: 12pm GMT

Liverpool need to get their Premier League title challenge back on track this weekend as Burnley head to Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp's Reds have dropped nine points in their eight League games since the turn of the year to allow Manchester City to retake top spot in the table.

Liverpool are by no means out of the title race with just a point separating them champions City ahead of gameweek 30, but Klopp and his men know they cannot realistically afford any more dropped points if they are going to win their first League title since 1990.

Liverpool vs Burnley team news and predicted lineups

Dejan Lovren and James Milner have two days to prove their fitness if they are to feature this weekend.

Lovren returned to training on Thursday having spent the last two months sidelined by a hamstring injury sustained during January’s FA Cup defeat to Wolves.

Milner, meanwhile, has been working with the club’s rehabilitation coach this week as he battles a minor muscle complaint.

Predicted XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Keita, Salah, Mane, Firmino

Score prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Burnley

Liverpool have been struggling on the road domestically of late, but their home form has been typically strong.

Klopp's side have put four past Crystal Palace, five past Watford and three past Bournemouth at home in 2019, and Burnley - who have lost their last two League games - should go the same way as those other visitors to Merseyside.
