Liverpool vs Brighton lineups: Confirmed team news and starting XIs at Anfield

Jurgen Klopp has made three changes to his starting XI for the visit of Brighton to Anfield.

Liverpool begin life without Fabinho by bringing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain into midfield, a move that will presumably result in Georginio Wijnaldum dropping into the No.6 role.

Elsewhere, Joe Gomez makes way at right-back to allow Trent Alexander-Arnold to return to a defence that is still shorn of the services of Joel Matip.

Naby Keita's recovery from illness provides a boost to the Reds' options on the bench.

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah, Firmino, Mane

Subs: Milner, Keita, Gomez, Adrian, Lallana, Shaqiri, Origi

Brighton: Ryan, Montoya, Webster, Dunk, Burn, Bissouma, Stephens, Propper, Gross, Connolly, Mooy

Subs: Duffy, Maupay, Trossard, Murray, Schelotto, Button, Alzate

Referee: Martin Atkinson
