Liverpool 2-3 Borussia Dortmund
2019 USA pre-season tour
Venue: Notre Name Stadium, Indiana
Liverpool's pre-season winning streak came to an abrupt halt at Notre Dame as Borussia Dortmund beat the Champions League holders 3-2.
Harry Wilson cancelled out Paco Alcacer's early opener for BVB to send Liverpool into half-time level, but the Bundesliga runners-up struck twice in quick succession after the break.
Thomas Delaney tapped home an easy effort after 53 minutes, while Jacob Bruun Larsen punished more slack defending with a well-taken finish 58 minutes in - and that was enough for Dortmund despite Rhian Brewster's penalty 15 minutes from time.
