Meanwhile, Barcelona was able to kick back and relax at the weekend, having already wrapped up their league title. Sure, they lost 2-0 away to Celta Vigo, but were able to rest virtually all of their starters to have them fresh for this second leg. As if they needed any more of an advantage, they’ll undoubtedly be the fresher side coming in.
It should be another magical European night at Anfield. It’s all on the line for Liverpool who is desperate for a piece of silverware this season.
