While Mikel Arteta’s side are one of the most in-form teams in the Premier League, Arsenal have not won at Anfield since 2012 and have famously struggled when playing away at their top six rivals. Of those destinations, Anfield does look perhaps the most daunting.
Clearly, their loss to West Ham just before the international break was disappointing but it’s important to remember that Jurgen Klopp’s team were unbeaten in the Premier League up until that point and it would take a brave observer to write them off.
