A Liverpool venue has been named among the top 10 best free museums in the UK for families.
With the summer holidays just around the corner, and the cost of living crisis still raging on, many families are on the hunt for budget-friendly ways to beat the heat while soaking up some culture. The UK has some of the world's best museums up for grabs - and many of them are completely free to enter.
In honour of National Museum Day this month, online bingo site Buzz Bingo's compiled a list of the top museums from across the country. Liverpool's own World Museum made it in the top five.

The large museum, located on William Brown Street, boasts extensive collections on archaeology and ethnology, as well as the natural and physical sciences. There's a number of special attractions, including a planetarium and its Natural History Centre.
One of the planetarium's most popular shows is the 'Chronicle of a Journey to Earth', which sends visitors through time and space, offering insight into the universe and the story of earth. Families can also enjoy the on-site aquarium and the Bug House which is home to Avril, the giant spider.
The museum ranked third in Buzz Bingo's top 10, being beaten only by the Natural History Museum in London, which came in first place, and Bristol's local history museum, M Shed, which finished in second place.
