Liverpool took part in their final training session before Christmas safe in the knowledge they will enjoy a Boxing Day rest.
This is due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases in the Leeds United camp, Marcelo Bielsa's men originally set to travel to Anfield before the Premier League confirmed the fixture was postponed.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is likely to view that news as a positive given his recent comments bemoaning the fixture congestion around the festive period.
Klopp claimed that he "did not have the players" to set up his Liverpool side for games on December 26 and December 28, losing one of those will give the German sufficient time to prepare for the trip to Leicester City.

The Reds returned to training after Wednesday night's dramatic penalty shootout victory over Brendan Rodgers' Foxes in the Carabao Cup quarter final.
There were a number of welcome sights for Liverpool fans keeping a keen eye out for training pictures, with trio Virgil Van Dijk, Fabinho and Curtis Jones all re-joining for the first time since testing positive for Covid-19.
All three were last seen in action during the 3-1 home victory over Newcastle United in December and have been sorely missed ever since.
Last Sunday's 2-2 draw away at Tottenham Hotspur saw Liverpool's midfield overrun without the usual personnel of Fabinho, Jones and Jordan Henderson, side-lined with injury.
Klopp was forced to instead deploy a midfield that contained an ageing James Milner and a very inexperienced Tyler Morton.
Andy Robertson was also pictured in training, the news of the Leeds postponement unwelcome to him given it means the Scot will now be suspended for the upcoming clash away at Chelsea on January 2 as well as the Leicester game.

Liverpool's left-back received a red-card against Spurs after a wild kick out at Emerson Royal, though the decision sparked controversy after Robertson was the victim of a wild challenge from Harry Kane an hour earlier that produced just a yellow.
The 27-year-old was pictured donning an enormous black eye, sustained during the clash in north London.
There is every chance Robertson sustained the shiner as he scored Liverpool's second, his face caught by the boot of Emerson as the Reds defender stooped low to head home.

While Liverpool have been boosted by the return of a number of players who had tested positive for Covid, not all of their stars are permitted to come back to training just yet.
Midfielder Thiago Alcantara's isolation period is not yet over, meaning the turnaround time between his return and the contest at the King Power could prove too tight and the Spaniard may miss out.
Liverpool currently sit second in the table, three points adrift of league leaders Manchester City.
