Liverpool transfers - Youri Tielemans offer claim, Pedri eyed, Lorenzo Pellegrini battle

Liverpool’s season is now done and dusted, and attention is quickly switching to what transfer activity the club will partake in this summer.

A whole host of players have already been tipped to join the Reds in the coming months, and they show no sign of stopping ahead of what is expected to be a busy window for the Anfield club.

Jurgen Klopp will be keen to add to his squad and challenge for the Premier League title next term, but what players will they actually sign?

Here, we take a lookout some of the latest rumours currently doing the rounds.

No 'concrete' offer for Tielemans

Liverpool are reportedly yet to make a concrete move for Leicester City star Youri Tielemans.

The Belgian international enjoyed an outstanding campaign for Brendan Rodgers' side and has been linked as a possible Gini Wijnaldum replacement.

But despite reports of talks being opened, Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur has claimed Tielemans will only make a decision on his future once Euro 2020 is over and Liverpool are to make a concrete offer.

Pedri a 'priority transfer target'

Liverpool have reportedly identified Barcelona wonderkid Pedri as a 'priority transfer target' this summer.

That’s according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, who claim the Reds are stepping up their interest in the midfielder.

The 18-year-old has a £70million release clause, and the report also claims that Barca are keen to tie down the teenager with a new deal.

Reds face competition for Pellegrini

Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini has been linked with a move to Italy this week but fresh reports suggest Barcelona are also in the hunt.

Sport Lens cite Mundo Deportivo as claiming that the Catalan giants have joined the race - because they missed out on Liverpool man Gini Wijnaldum who joined Paris Saint-Germain instead.

The report also claims that Pellegrini has a €30million release clause in his contract, but he could be sold for less as he is approaching the final year of his deal.
