Liverpool transfers - Otavio cash plus player 'offer', Kingsley Coman €100m

Liverpool’s season is done and dusted, and now attention will be switching to what transfer activity the club will partake in this summer.

A whole host of players have already been tipped to join Anfield in the coming months, and they show no sign of stopping ahead of what is expected to be a busy window for the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp will be keen to add to his squad and challenge for the Premier League title next term, but what players will they actually sign?

Here, we take a lookout some of the latest rumours doing the rounds and how likely they are to happen.

Who?

Otavio, Porto midfielder.

Where?

Liverpool have reportedly made a part-exchange offer to sign Otavio this summer.

Reports over the past couple of days have said that the Reds are interested in the Brazilian, who has been tipped to be a possible replacement for Gini Wijnaldum.

Now, according to Portuguese news outlet A Bola, via Sport Witness , Liverpool have offered a fee plus Marko Grujic in exchange for Otavio.

The report states the Reds have offered €23m plus Grujic, who spent last season on loan with the Primeira Liga club.

What?

This is an interesting rumour, and probably one that’s not too surprising to hear.

Once Liverpool were linked with a player from Porto, it was only a matter of time before Grujic entered the equation.

Liverpool are likely to consider selling Grujic this summer, but whether they want to include as part of a cash-plus-player deal is another matter.

Who?

KIngsley Coman, Bayern Munich forward.

Where?
Liverpool have not yet made a bid for Coman, according to reports.

It has been reported in recent days that the Reds have expressed an interest in signing the France international, who is yet to agree fresh terms with the Bundesliga champions.

However, according to Sky Germany, via Sport Witness , no ‘concrete offers’ have come in from Liverpool for Coman as things stand.

Various reports have suggested that Coman could leave if an offer of £42m is made, however, Sky go on to say that Bayern would only entertain offers in the region of €100m-€120m (£86m-£102m) for Coman

What?

Coman’s name simply just does not seem to be going away, does it.

Given his contract situation at Bayern, where he is yet to be offered an extension, all of these rumours could be a tactic to get the German club to hand the player fresh terms.

Various fees have been suggested, from £20m all the way up to £100m, which further reinforces the argument that this rumour may not be the most believable.

But as with any piece of gossip, we wait to see what happens.

Who?

Domenico Berardi, Sassuolo forward.

Where?

Liverpool have been informed of the price tag for Berardi, it has been claimed.

The Reds have been linked with the Sassuolo winger, who has been impressing with Italy at this summer’s European Championships.

Leicester City, Inter Milan and Lazio have all been credited with an interest in the 26-year-old alongside Liverpool, and a report has claimed to know the asking price from Sassuolo.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via FootballItalia ), Sassuolo have set a €40m asking price for Berardi because they are aware of interest from the likes of Liverpool.

What?

Berardi is a player anyone who has watched Italy at this summer’s Euros will know very well.

He has impressed at the tournament so far, and if he keeps up his high level of performances then he is likely to have plenty of suitors this summer.

Will Liverpool be one of them? As always, that remains to be seen.

His price tag may have been set at €40m, but even if that’s true it’s likely to go up if Berardi continues to play well for his country.
