Liverpool have 'no chance' in signing Barella this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Liverpool have been linked to a plethora of midfielders to replace Gini Wijnaldum this summer but Romano claimed that the Italian international is not a real target for the Reds.
Speaking on the Here We Go podcast, Romano said: “Liverpool will go for a midfielder but not immediately, so it will take some days maybe. Barella is not a real target, there's no chance."

Liverpool lead the transfer race for Houssem Aouar, according to reports from Le10Sport in France.
The Reds are said to have long been admirers of Aouar and are now leading the race for his signature.
The report claims that Liverpool have the 'greatest probability' of signing the Frenchman but they are not the only ones looking.
Arsenal are also interested but lag behind Jurgen Klopp's side as they would have to sell before buying.
Aouar would cost between £17million and £21million according to the report, which is a dramatic cut from the £54million reported by The Telegraph last September.
