The report goes on to claim that negotiations have not broken down and that dialogue is ongoing, but it’s both a complicated and sensitive situation.
Henderson's current deal runs until the summer of 2023, and the report also claims that PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino is an admirer of Henderson’s, and he is keeping a close eye on developments.
While, according to the report, the same goes for Atletico Madrid., with Henderson still good friends with Luis Suarez, who would relish the prospect of being reunited with his former Liverpool team-mate.

The report from Spain claims that Manchester United have jumped ahead of Liverpool in the race to sign the Atletico Madrid midfielder this summer.
Barcelona recently entered negotiations with Atletico over a swap deal for Saul that would see Antoine Griezmann return to his former club.
But that move has reportedly broken down as Bara value Griezmann higher than Saul and want some cash added as part of the exchange deal.
As a result, Aguilar is now claiming that Saul's agent, Jonathan Barnett, is now advancing the negotiations with United, who, according to the report, have moved ahead of the Reds in the race for the midfielder's signature.

According to the report, the agent of the Barcelona forward has met with a handful of Premier League sides to discuss a transfer this summer.
Although linked with Atletico Madrid, Griezmann has been offered to a whole host of clubs across Europe, and sources have confirmed to 90min that the 30-year-old's agent and sister, Maud, has spoken to at least two Premier League clubs this month.
The report also goes on to claim that Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool have all been made aware that Griezmann is available for a low fee this summer.
