Your latest round-up of transfer rumours for Sunday, July 18.
Who?
Renato Sanches.
Where?
What?
Barcelona have reportedly "entered" the race to sign rumoured Liverpool target Renato Sanches, who was one of the stars of this summer's European Championships.
Diaro AS are reporting that Sanches is a target for the Spanish giants after their proposal to bring Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez to the Nou Camp reportedly broke down earlier this week.
The Lille midfielder has been heavily linked with Liverpool in recent weeks following his eye-catching performances for Portugal this summer.
As Liverpool continue a possible hunt for a Gini Wijnaldum replacement, many feel that Sanches could help Liverpool fill the void left by their former No.5.
Situations can be fluid - but the ECHO was told back in December that the player was not on the Reds' radar for January or for this summer.
Who?
Houssem Aouar.
Where?
Italian outlet TUTTOmercatoWEB.
What?
The Italian outlet are reporting that Juventus have moved into pole position for rumoured Liverpool target Houssem Aouar.
Aouar has one year left on his contract at Lyon and has attracted strong interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus a few of the teams being mentioned.
Liverpool could be on the hunt for a new midfielder following the departure of Wijnaldum earlier this summer.
But Tutto are reporting that Juventus remain in "firm contention" for his signature.
Who?
Alisson Becker.
Where?
Fabrizio Romano.
What?
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Alisson Becker is close to agreeing on a contract extension that will keep at Anfield until 2026.
Romano has reported that the contract negotiations are in the "final stages" as Liverpool look to tie down one of their stars who has been integral to their Premier League and Champions League success.
He has indicated that Alisson's contract could be signed in the next few weeks before the start of the Reds' Premier League campaign, which gets underway on August 14 against Norwich City.
As the ECHO reported last month, Liverpool planned to open new contract talks with both Alisson and Fabinho as soon as the pair return for pre-season training.
The club were keen to tie both down to new deals before the upcoming campaign kicks off.
