Liverpool transfers - Divock Origi exit, Kingsley Coman wanted, Franck Kessie update

The transfer window has closed for another summer, and Jurgen Klopp now knows what Liverpool squad he has to work with until at least January.

Ibrahima Konate was the only first-team addition that the Reds brought to the club, while several left Anfield either on a loan basis or on permanent deals.

Despite the transfer window closing, Liverpool continue to be linked with potential new players when deals can be completed again in the New Year.

Who?

Divock Origi, Liverpool striker.

According to the report, French club Lens are exploring the possibility of signing Origi in the coming months.

Origi’s current contract is due to run until 2024, and the report states that Lens are keeping tabs on developments over his future at Anfield.

The 26-year-old signed a new contract at Liverpool in 2019, and made his first appearance of the season in the win over AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Kingsley Coman, Bayern Munich forward.

Liverpool are reportedly joined by another Premier League club in the race to sign Coman.

According to the report, the Reds are interested in signing the Bayern Munich forward, as are Tottenham Hotspur.

The report states that both clubs could battle it out to sign Coman next summer, with his current deal running until 2023.

It has also been claimed that, with Coman’s contract running down, the France international could look for a fresh challenge in search of more playing time.

Franck Kessie, AC Milan midfielder.

What?

According to the report, Juventus have joined the race to sign Kessie next summer.

Liverpool, as well as Tottenham, have been linked with Kessie in recent months, as his contract situation at Milan rumbles on.

Kessie’s current deal runs out next summer, meaning he is free to negotiate with clubs outside Italy from January if a deal is not reached beforehand.

The report states that Juventus have joined the race to sign Kessie, although they will not be able to confirm a deal in January if their interest is genuine.
