Liverpool have warned clubs that they stand no chance of signing either Harry Wilson or Marko Grujic on loan this summer.
The pair spent last season with AFC Bournemouth and Hertha Berlin respectively.
And a recent report suggested the Reds could consider another temporary move for the duo to avoid missing out on their full asking-price as a result of the financial ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the ECHO understands Liverpool have no interest in another loan move for either player.
The club will only consider permanent offers, with the Reds demanding bids in excess of £20m - otherwise they will stay at Anfield.
Both players are commanding mass interest, with the ECHO also understanding that Premier League trio Newcastle United, Southampton and Leeds United are three of the sides to have made contact to enquire about Wilson’s availability.
Meanwhile, Lazio, Hertha Berlin and Borussia Monchengladbach have all been reported to be interested in Grujic in the past.
However, Jurgen Klopp is understood to be planning for the new season with them part of his first team squad.
And the German would be happy should they remain at Anfield come the close of the transfer window.
Considering the hectic fixture list in a truncated season that awaits the Reds, the duo would be utilised by Klopp over the course of the 2020/21 campaign should appropriate offers not be received.
Wilson and Grujic will both link back up with the Liverpool first team next week with the Reds scheduled to return for pre-season on August 15 ahead of their Community Shield clash with Arsenal on August 29.
