Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool registered their seventh win on the bounce on Saturday thanks to a 1-0 win over Aston Villa.
Mohamed Salah's second half strike proved to the difference between the two side's at Anfield.
Liverpool are just one point behind champions Manchester City, as the Reds bid to win back the title from Pep Guardiola's side.
But with the January transfer window less than three weeks away, Klopp will be thinking about ways he can strengthen his side next month.
And with several names being linked with a move, here, Mirror Football brings you the latest gossip from Anfield.
Rodrygo a ‘top target’
Liverpool are reportedly willing to pay €80m (£68m) for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo.
According to El Nacional, the 20-year-old is said to be a ‘top target’ for Klopp’s Liverpool in January.
The Reds are said to have had a €60m (£51m) bid rejected for Rodrygo in the summer, but it doesn’t appear as if the Reds have given up yet.
Rodrygo has made 14 LaLiga appearances for Los Blancos this season, scoring once.
The winger arrived in the Spanish capital 2019 following a €45m (£39.3m) move from Brazilian side Santos.
Diaz latest
Liverpool’s chances of signing Porto winger Luis Diaz have reportedly had a huge boost.
Portuguese outlet Record say Porto being dumped out of the Champions League will have negative financial implications for the club, which could lead to the sale of one or two of their star players.

The Reds have been linked with a move for the highly-rated 24-year-old in recent weeks ahead of the upcoming window.
Diaz has found the net ten times in 13 appearances in the Portuguese topflight this season, and has registered three assists.
The Colombia international also scored twice in the Champions League group stage – both of which came against AC Milan.
Liverpool fans will be aware of Diaz’s quality after the winger played in both of the games against them in Europe’s premier club competition this season.
Raphinha update
Liverpool are said to be keeping tabs on Leeds winger Raphinha, according to reports.
A report in the Liverpool Echo says the Reds are scouting the Leeds winger, but it is unlikely they will make a bid when the January transfer window opens.
The 24-year-old has been in impressive form in the Premier League this season, scoring seven times in 14 appearances - two more than last season’s tally already.
The Brazilian had a mixed recent game against Chelsea, which saw him put Leeds ahead from the spot, before the winger conceded a second-half penalty.
The midfielder has been a key player under Bielsa since he joined the club from French side Rennes in 2020.
