Timo Werner is likely to stay with RB Leizig for the next two or three years, according to the club's technical director Ralf Rangnick.
Werner has been persistently linked with Liverpool over several transfer windows and Bayern Munich are also understood to be interested in the striker.
However, Rangnick believes Bayern are in no rush to bring Werner to Bavaria, and therefore believes that the 22-year-old will stay at Leipzig for the foreseeable future.
"If Bayern are serious, then it will be difficult for us. But they often play with one striker, so I see him staying with us for the next two or three years," he told Sky Germany.
Elsewhere, reports in Portugal suggest Liverpool are in the race to sign emerging Benfica talent Joao Felix.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Barcelona have also been linked with the 19-year-old forward, who is enjoying a breakthrough season at the Estadio da Luz.
Record, the Portuguese newspaper, claims Liverpool recently saw a £61million bid for Felix rejected.
Meanwhile, the Daily Telegraph report that Liverpool are set to become the first football club to ever report an annual net profit of more than €100million.
Last season's run to the Champions League final and the sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona, for the third highest-ever fee, are expected to help set a new profits record.
