Liverpool transfer admission made about Werder Bremen star Milot Rashica

The president of the Kosovo Football Federation has claimed that Liverpool are interested in signing Werder Bremen star Milot Rashica this summer.

The Kosovo international has been tentatively linked with a move to Anfield in recent months, although it was claimed recently that the Reds had cooled their interest in the player.

Aston Villa, Wolves and West Ham have also been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old who has bagged seven goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances this season.

But now Agim Amedi, the president of the Kosovo Football Federation, has claimed Liverpool and RB Leipzig are two clubs known to him who are interested in the Bremen star.

"There are many requests for him," Amedi told Syri TV via the Mirror when asked about Rashica’s future.

"I know that Liverpool in the Premier League want him, but also Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

"I am sure that he will be advised in the best way to make his decision."

While just last month, Rashica's agent, Altin Lala, suggested his client would soon be ready to make a decision on his future.

"There are many clubs interested in signing Milot for next season," he said.

"But for now, of course, it's suspended. There are some things that need to be done discreetly.

“Hopefully next season, Milot will have the opportunity to play in the Champions League. This is mine and Milot’s topic at the moment."
