Liverpool have been urged to sign Declan Rice by a former Arsenal star.
The Reds are being linked with a host of potential new signings ahead of the January transfer window. West Ham captain Rice has been one player who has been tentatively credited as a possible target for Liverpool.
Midfield was the main area of the squad that was deemed to be in need of strengthening during the summer. However, Liverpool moved to just complete the loan signing of Arthur Melo from Juventus.

Former Arsenal star Ray Parlour has been discussing Rice’s future and the possibility of his old club making a move for the midfielder, Parlour went to to say that it should be Liverpool who sign the England international, along with Borussia Dortmund talent Jude Bellingham.
“I don’t think they (Arsenal) will have that sort of money,” Parlour told Talksport.
“I think Tielemans is coming to the end of his contract, isn’t he? So you might be able to get him for a little bit cheaper than Declan Rice.
“I am amazed, that’s where Liverpool need to go and try and get Declan Rice.
“Imagine getting Bellingham and Rice, that could be where they challenge for the title again.”
