Liverpool to make decision on Harry Wilson's future with Leeds United, Aston Villa, Newcastle United among seven clubs battling to sign Wales ace

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will make a decision over Harry Wilson's future in the next 72 hours as a string of Premier League clubs line up to land the Wales ace.

Wilson, who has been with the Reds since under-nine level, finally made his first Liverpool start in the Carabao Cup penalty defeat to Arsenal.

The gifted 22-year-old missed the decisive spot-kick, but still earned plaudits from Klopp who said: "Harry WIlson - he played in centre-mid and also defended well."

But just days after that full debut, Wilson could leave Anfield with seven Premier League rivals keen to sign him.

Burnley are already reported to have had a £12m offer rejected by Klopp. Aston Villa, Leeds, Newcastle, Leicester, Southampton and Fulham are also said to want Wilson.

Prior to Arsenal, Wilson's only other Liverpool appearance was as a substitute in the FA Cup at Plymouth back in January 2017.

But he has proved his worth in successful loan spells with Bournemouth and Derby, as well as with Ryan Giggs' Wales on the international stage.

That form has led to the interest from the other teams and Wilson's future should be decided before the transfer window closes on Monday.
