Liverpool duo Roberto Firmino and Alisson Becker will get a well earned break following this Sunday's Copa America final.
Their gruelling campaign for both club and country will finally reach a conclusion when they line up for hosts Brazil in the showpiece occasion in Rio de Janeiro.
Jurgen Klopp is expected to grant them three weeks off following the completion of their international commitments which means they won't link up with the Reds for pre-season training until the end of July.
As a result they will miss the domestic warm-up games against Tranmere and Bradford City as well as the USA tour matches against Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Sporting Lisbon.
They should be back on board for Liverpool's training camp in France which includes a friendly against Lyon in Geneva on July 31.
That should give them sufficient time to get up to speed in time to line up in the Community Shield against Manchester City at Wembley on August 4.
Alisson and Firmino have excelled during the Copa America and they were both influential in their 2-0 semi-final win over Argentina.
Former Roma keeper Alisson kept a ninth successive clean sheet for both club and country. Remarkably, the Liverpool No 1 hasn't conceded a goal since the dramatic 3-2 win at Newcastle in the Premier League on May 4.
Firmino wrapped up victory over Argentina with a close range finish. With two goals and three assists, he has been directly involved in more goals at the tournament than any other player.
