Liverpool is set to get a new ‘beach club’ this summer on the city’s world renowned waterfront.
Independent, family run bar and restaurant The Yacht Club has decided to take advantage of the beautiful location and expand its offering.
Boasting stunning marina views, The Yacht Club’s new beach club will offer live music, al fresco dining and cocktails.
Chloe Baker, Operations Director of The Yacht Club Bar and Restaurant, said: "We have over 500 seats outdoors overlooking the yachts and powerboats of Liverpool Marina and a huge outdoor space with separate beach bar which we wanted to build on.
"After a brilliant YachtFest this year, we realised how great it would be to throw something similar every weekend in the Summer, creating a Marina D'Eivissa of Liverpool!
"The Beach Club is on the outside space of The Yacht Club Bar and Restaurant and will see live DJ's, Sax & Bongos from Six15 Events, BBQ & Paella stands as well as deck chairs and sun loungers to really bring that holiday vibe.
"We're aiming to open on the last Bank Holiday of May and see The Beach Club being open from 12pm - 10pm every weekend in the Summer."

The Yacht Club first opened its doors in 1988 as a private members club, however it opened its doors to the general public a decade later in 1998. In 2013, the bar and restaurant area was leased and The Yacht Club was born.
In June 2017 the restaurant and bar was taken over, rebranded and became family run.
The Yacht Club Bar and Restaurant is now known as a family friendly relaxed venue, serving fresh home cooked food starting from £4.95 along with weekly seafood specials, 2-4-1 cocktails and a selection of beer real ale.
