Liverpool have joined race for Leicester's James Maddison.

Man Utd, Man City and Tottenham are all keen on the youngster.

He only joined the Foxes last summer but he has made a huge impression on the Premier League big guns already

Arsenal made last-minute bid

Arsenal have made a last-ditch attempt to sign  Fiorentina midfielder Jordan Veretout.

Napoli believed they were the frontrunners, but the Gunners have matched the  €22million offer made by the Neapolitans for the former Aston Villa man.

He had a bad time during his stay at Villa Park, but he has rebuilt his career in Serie A.

Unai Emery sees him as a perfect Aaron Ramsey replacement.

Chelsea have Hazard replacement plans

Eden Hazard has left Chelsea (PA)

Chelsea plan to launch a move for Bayer Leverkusen attacker Leon Bailey, according to reports.

The Mail report that despite appealing a transfer ban the Blues are looking at £80million-rated Bailey as a replacement for Eden Hazard.

The Stamford Bridge outfit are also keen on Ajax's David Neres, who has been watched by Arsenal too.

Everton made 'firm offer'

Everton have made a "firm offer" for Mainz star Jean-Philippe Mateta, say L'Equipe.

The Toffees have also been linked with Lyon man Memphis Depay, but French reports state Marco Silva's interest in Mateta is real.

He scored 14 goals in 34 Bundesliga matches last season, and would cost in the region of  €35 to €40million.

Greizmann on future

France star Antoine Greizmann has picked his next club - but the £105million star has asked for "patience".

“I know where I want to go, and the sacrifices I have to make to get there.

“I just ask for a little patience.

“As soon as I could say it, it will be with pleasure.”

Manchester United and Barcelona are the big favourites.
